In this workshop we will cover the basics of the Dreamweaver MX program. Topics for this full-day hands-on session include: editing page properties, metatags, text editing, spell checking, inserting images, browser preview, links, and objects. Throughout the day, discussion about what makes a good website/webpage will be embedded and tips for "best practice" in web design will be shared.

Flash for Educators: The Basics

Discover how Flash is now used by students to develop animations and to present classroom research and projects. Flash is becoming a popular choice in primary schools as well as secondary schools. The basics of Macromedia's Flash MX will be covered such as, time line, tweening, objects, symbols, layers, sound, and much more. Each participant should be proficient in the general operation of a computer such as mouse clicks, file navigation, and basic software knowledge. A basic understanding of web design would be helpful. This is not for the novice computer user.

Participants should already be familiar with the use of the time line, tweening, objects, symbols, layers and sound in Flash MX 2004.
