Animation Basics: blurring text with motion tween (activity 16g)

  1. Workshop: open activity16
  2. Create a new layer then make sure the other layers are locked.
  3. Add a key frame (F6) above where the action ended on the layer below.
  4. Select a smaller font-size, style, and color, then type your sub-title below the banner.
  5. Select the text and add the "Blur" filter, but only apply the blur to the "x" axis.
  6. Save file as activity16.fla

  1. Workshop: continue working with activity16.fla
  2. Add a keyframe (F6) five frames from where you added the sub-title
  3. Reset the "blur" filter to "zero" on both axis.
  4. Select any frame in between the two key frames containing the sub-title, then use the "Properties Inspector" to add the "motion" tween
  5. Save file as activity16.fla
